Mary Jean Vines was born on June 30th, 1949. At the age of 34, her life was cut short in Opelika. Mary was found with her throat cut on October 23rd, 1983, she had perished the day before. There was evidence in the home that there had been a struggle, but police were unable to find a motive or a suspect.
